Role – We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer to join a major enterprise ServiceNow transformation programme within a complex financial services environment. This is a hands-on development role focused on designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions across multiple platform modules. You will work closely with architects, process owners, and delivery teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow Development
    • Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow platform solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain:
      • Business Rules
      • Client Scripts
      • Script Includes
      • UI Policies
      • UI Actions
      • Service Catalog Items
      • Workflows and Flow Designer solutions
  • Platform & Module Delivery
    • Support development across:
      • ITSM
      • ITOM
      • ITAM
      • CMDB
      • Business Continuity Management (BCM)
      • Source-to-Pay (S2P)
      • Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
      • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
    • Contribute to platform standardisation and service improvement initiatives.
  • CMDB & Integration
    • Support CMDB and CSDM implementation and optimisation.
    • Maintain configuration item (CI) relationships and data quality controls.
    • Develop integrations using:
      • REST APIs
      • SOAP APIs
      • MID Servers
      • Data Import frameworks
    • Troubleshoot integration and data integrity issues.
  • Support & Platform Optimisation
    • Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, defects, and enhancement requests.
    • Troubleshoot:
      • Scripting issues
      • ACLs and security controls
      • Performance bottlenecks
      • Customisation conflicts
    • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and regression testing activities.
    • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Governance
    • Work closely with architects, process owners, business stakeholders, and functional consultants.
    • Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
    • Support platform governance, audit, compliance, and security requirements.

Key Skills:

  • 5–8 years' hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer within enterprise environments.
