Role â We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterpriseâscale ServiceNow solutions within a major transformation programme. This is a strategic, handsâon role where you will define architecture, guide delivery teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and highâperforming solutions aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Solution Design
- Define and design endâtoâend ServiceNow architecture across modules such as:
- ITSM
- ITOM (Discovery & Service Mapping)
- ITAM
- Develop architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices
- Align solutions with enterprise IT strategy and digital transformation goals
- Lead design for new implementations, enhancements, and platform optimisation
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams
- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and code reviews
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural governance
- Drive best practices across ServiceNow development and deployment
- Design and oversee complex integrations using:
- REST / SOAP APIs
- OAuth / SAML
- Middleware platforms
- Apply knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI within ServiceNow
- Support initiatives such as:
- Knowledge management optimisation for AI
- Catalog rationalisation and automation
- CMDB enrichment aligned to CSDM
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance standards
- Support migration, upgrades, and platform consolidation initiatives
- Identify and resolve technical risks and performance issues
- Contribute to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement
Key Skills
- 10+ years' experience in IT, including 3+ years as a ServiceNow Architect
- Deep expertise in:
- ServiceNow platform architecture
- ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules
- JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, Integration Hub
- CMDB and CSDM alignment
- Platform optimisation and consolidation
- Knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI in ServiceNow
