Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support a major enterprise transformation programme involving SAP system integration, data migration, reporting, and interface development. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will work closely with SAP functional teams, integration specialists, and stakeholders to design, build, and support robust SAP-based solutions. The role requires strong technical capability, autonomy, and the ability to contribute to architecture and integration decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP solutions using ABAP and SAP HANA.
- Build and support integrations between SAP and external platforms.
- Contribute to interface development, data migration, reporting, and archiving activities.
- Support solution design and basic architectural decision-making.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide pragmatic solutions with appropriate escalation.
- Produce technical documentation capturing design decisions and integration flows.
- Work collaboratively with SAP functional, integration, and client teams.
- Operate independently on defined tasks with minimal supervision.
- Support stakeholder communication and delivery expectations.
Key Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development.
- Experience working with SAP HANA and SAP Gateway.
- Solid understanding of SAP integration concepts and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
- Exposure to SAP integration technologies including:
