AWS / GCP Data Engineer

Position: GCP Data Engineer Employment Type: Contract, Full time Start: ASAP Location: London – Hybrid Languages: English Role – We are seeking a GCP Data Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team and help us architect and optimize our cloud-based data infrastructure. 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1–2 years hands-on with Google Cloud Platform. ~ Proficient in SQL, Python, and Apache Beam. ~ Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments. ~ Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture. ~ Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of GCP data services Implement data quality, monitoring, and governance practices Ensure security and compliance best practices in data handling Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
