Focus on DF are supporting a growing HCM consultancy supporting customers through complex HR, Payroll, WFM and Dayforce implementation programmes. The business is continuing to grow and is now strengthening its Project Management capability, with a focus on building a consistent, scalable PMO framework across customer implementations.
The Role
- Project Delivery: Lead customer-facing HCM and Dayforce implementation projects from planning through to delivery.
- Governance & Control: Own project plans, RAID logs, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder communication.
- Stakeholder Management: Work confidently with senior HR, Payroll, Operations and C-suite stakeholders to keep decisions moving and expectations aligned.
- Consultative Delivery: Guide customers through implementation decisions, trade-offs and risks rather than simply taking instructions.
- PMO Development: Support the growth of a repeatable delivery framework as the consultancy scales its PMO capability.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate consultants and subject matter experts across HCM, HRIS, WFM and Payroll workstreams without needing to be the technical expert in every detail.
What You Bring
- Strong Project Management experience across HCM, HRIS, Payroll, WFM or SaaS implementation projects.
- Proven track record delivering customer-facing implementation projects within a consultancy, systems integrator or similar environment.
- Experience managing project governance, plans, RAID logs, dependencies, risks, issues and senior stakeholder communication.
- Strong ability to communicate confidently with C-suite and senior customer stakeholders.
- A consultative approach, with the confidence to guide customers through decisions and flag risks early.
- Operational empathy and an understanding of the real-world impact HCM, WFM and Payroll systems have on employees, managers and customers.
- The ability to delegate effectively, coordinate specialists and stay focused on programme-level delivery rather than getting pulled too far into technical configuration detail.
- Dayforce experience is highly desirable, but strong HCM implementation experience is essential.

- Salary Range: £60,000 – £80,000 + Package
- Location: Remote, with travel to client sites as required
