The Opportunity
Focus on DF are supporting a global organisation who are live on Dayforce and now entering a critical phase of Dayforce Payroll configuration, UAT, and parallel run preparation ahead of go-live later this year. They are looking for a hands-on Dayforce Payroll Consultant with strong UK payroll experience to support configuration and optimisation within a live Dayforce environment. This is a delivery-focused role where practical system knowledge, speed, and accuracy are key.
What You’ll Do
- Configure and optimise Dayforce Payroll, including pay groups, pay policies, earnings and deductions
- Ensure UK payroll configuration aligns with statutory requirements and business rules
- Work closely with Dayforce WFM (Workforce Management) to ensure accurate flow of time & attendance data into payroll
- Identify and resolve Dayforce configuration issues impacting payroll accuracy
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles, including issue identification, triage and resolution
- Prepare for and support parallel payroll runs ahead of go-live
- Collaborate with internal payroll, HR and Dayforce SMEs in a live system environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Dayforce Payroll Consultant (Ceridian Dayforce)
- Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce Payroll configuration
- Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and processing
- Experience working in live Dayforce environments (not just implementation)
- Strong knowledge of WFM and payroll integration (time & attendance → payroll)
- Experience supporting UAT, testing cycles, and parallel runs
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
