Great opportunity to join one of the leading branded food groups in its sector. This food business supplies into all the leading retailers and has done for decades. They have recently embarked on an exciting period of growth, making it a great time to join this talented procurement function.
The company is looking for an experienced Category Procurement Manager with experience in commodities and ingredients gained in the food industry. You will own the CRM plan and the movement of PPV vs Budget for your area, inputting into the annual budget process and identifying risks and opportunities. You will manage two direct reports and identify, evaluate, and select best-in-class suppliers whilst building long-term strategic partnerships.
Candidates will need at least 5 years’ experience in sourcing and commodity markets gained in the food manufacturing arena. You should have strong supplier management experience, a high level of understanding of Incoterms, first-class negotiation skills, and essential people management experience along with a strong understanding of global supply chains.
