Specifications Technologist – 6 month FTC – Food Manufacturing
Remote Based
£30,000 – £35,000
Must have retailer specifications experience
Due to an increase in workload and various projects my client is looking for an experienced Specifications Technologist to join the Technical team on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months. You must be available to start within the next four weeks.
Key Details:
- Contract Type: FTC- 6 months
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
- Remote-based with flexibility required for business needs

Responsibilities:
- Complete finished product specifications meeting critical path/customer requirements
- Review finished product artwork checks for critical path adherence
- Maintain retailer online systems and update finished product specifications/site details
- Manage customer interface internally/externally in a professional/timely manner
- Conduct audits as part of the internal audit team
- Administer data for customer complaints, KPI reports, and analytical support
- Assist in Quality Management System compliance projects
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Retailer Specification Writing
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure
