Great opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a leading innovative food business in Central London. This is an exciting role within a well-established food business going through a planned period of growth. They have a strong heritage and a strong reputation for quality and innovation. They are now looking for a Head of Procurement to join their talented procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all buying around existing products.
  2. Manage existing supplier relationships and build a co-manufacturing supply base to facilitate the ongoing NPD pipeline.
  3. Develop and implement long term strategic plans to support growth.
  4. Maintain strategic supplier relationships for ingredients and raw materials.
  5. Lead a small team and drive value within the current supply base.

Qualifications:

  1. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  2. Significant experience at Senior Buyer level within the food industry, buying ingredients.
  3. Proven track record of strategic supplier management and strategic sourcing.
  4. Strong decision-making skills and excellent relationship skills.
  5. Experience dealing at Managing Director level.
  6. Fluency in a second European language is an advantage.
