A great opportunity to join a leading provider of food ingredients across the UK and Europe working in the B2B sales channel creating opportunities. We are delighted to search for a Senior National Account Manager within B2B and ingredients sales.
As Senior National Account Manager, the role will require great market knowledge and customer relationships across all major food manufacturers. As a leading food ingredients supplier, this business has multiple sites across the UK, provides solutions into retail and foodservice channels, and is part of a larger European and International group. The company has an enviable reputation, a good company culture, and an opportunity for someone to make their mark but also grow internally across other divisions in the future.
The Senior NAM is a key member of the commercial team. The main responsibilities will be:
- Key account management to build and maintain strong relationships
- Drive innovation and understand customer needs
- Lead contract management and negotiation
- Manage all cross-functional team collaboration across R&D, marketing, and supply chain
Criteria for success:
- Current sales and account management in the food ingredients industry
- Work autonomously and bring your own sales strategy and essential market knowledge
- Specialised in B2B sales and understand an ingredients sales approach
- A network with food manufacturers such as Bakkavor, Pilgrims, 2SFG, Greencore, Cranswick etc.
- Energetic with a desire to work in a team to deliver positive change
- Demonstrate experience of developing customer trials, reviews, meetings, and presentations
