My client sources the best quality products from all over the world to supply to the Food Manufacturing and Foodservice sectors.

They are urgently in need of an experienced Senior Development Technologist to join the business on a 3-month FTC, with the potential to go permanent for the right individual.

£45,000 – £50,000 pro rata

Must be available to start asap

Working hours are flexible – 38.5 hours per week, early finish Friday.

Reporting into the NPD Manager you will be responsible for:

* Developing new and innovative products

* Providing support at all stages of the development process from concept to product trials

* Working alongside relevant functions to support the development of new products

* Visiting and liaising directly with customers to identify and present new concepts

* Preparing technical documentation and evaluating HACCP requirements for new products

* Ability to match customer recipes and develop new recipes to customer requirements

* Maintaining a comprehensive database of recipe information and costings

* Identifying emerging food and market trends
