As Senior Development Chef, you’ll be working in a talented team of culinary professionals, all passionate about creating delicious, high-quality products.
Day to day, you’ll be in the development kitchen, creating new recipes across different product categories, cuisines, and price points. You’ll work closely with colleagues across other business areas to support new product launches, ensuring taste and quality are maintained through the process. You’ll work with suppliers, ensuring they are well-briefed and delivering products that meet consumer and company requirements. You’ll be involved in taste panels, product benchmarking, and innovation days.
This is a site-based role working Mon-Fri days in a fantastic development centre with superb facilities. You’ll be joining a highly regarded food business that’s recognised for looking after its team and for doing excellent work in the local community. About you… You’ll need to be a highly skilled Chef with a broad repertoire to succeed here. You’re likely to have trained and cut your teeth in top quality restaurants before making the move into Product Development. Your experience as a Development Chef could be in food manufacturing, food service, or retail. In addition, having huge enthusiasm, energy, and interest in all aspects of food is what they are looking for.
