Opportunity to use your leadership skills and expertise to take products from recipe to shelf for Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons, Co-op, M&S, and the foodservice sector.

As Process Manager you will report into the Head of Business Excellence for a BRC AA+ accredited food manufacture.

My client is currently experiencing rapid growth across their retailers (Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons, Co-op, and M&S) along with their customers in the foodservice sector. They’ve invested significantly in their factory with more investment going in over the next couple of years. Their portfolio includes a fabulous range of great tasting products that are driven by passionate foodies.

This role will be suitable for a someone who has worked as Senior Process Technologist role or similar with people management skills in the process function of a food manufacturer.

In the role of Process Manager, you’ll be hands-on leading a small team. Your expertise in the process function will drive the delivery of factory trials and NPD launches as you take products from concept sign off stage through to successful launch.

Success will involve you forging strong working relationships with your colleagues across all functions and the customer to produce products in line with Food Safety and Technical standards, as well as Financial and Commercial expectations. Being able to manage relationships across a diverse range of Retail/Foodservice customers is essential in this customer-facing role.

To be considered for this role you’ll need proven experience in the process function, business development, and project management experience for a UK food manufacturer with relevant qualifications. You’ll have excellent leadership and communication skills and be an effective manager with knowledge of profit loss analysis, financial reporting, and the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

The role is office-based Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:00 with some flexibility needed for key activity launches and customer visits.
