If you’re the kind of person who enjoys variety, loves being hands‑on, and doesn’t mind a bit of time on the road, this could be your perfect next move. You’ll be part of a talented NPD Team – working across multiple sites, helping to take great ideas from the kitchen bench right through to successful factory launch.

No two weeks will look the same. One day, you might be in the development kitchen with NPD Managers, fine‑tuning a concept; the next, you’re in the factory leading trials, solving scale‑up challenges, and making sure everything runs smoothly from process to production.

This is a role for someone who’s energised by change – who enjoys travelling around the UK, meeting new teams, and seeing firsthand how different sites operate. You’ll spend a couple of nights away most weeks, but you’ll gain real variety, experience, and exposure across a growing, well‑invested food business supplying innovative products to global customers.

You’ll bring proven experience running factory trials and supporting launches within food or drink manufacturing environments. A solid understanding of processing, quality, and food safety principles will help you quickly add value – but equally important is your curiosity, your practical problem‑solving, and your ability to build great relationships on the factory floor.

You’ll need to be UK-based with the right to work and a full driving licence to be considered. All travel expenses in the role will, of course, be covered, and you’ll usually have at least a day a week working from home. You can be based anywhere, but being somewhere central in England would work well with the travel required.

If you’re ready for a role that gets you out of your comfort zone (and maybe a few different postcodes each week), this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. Click ‘apply’ to send your CV – or, if you’d like to find out a bit more first, get in touch with Rachel to discuss the details.
