My client procures, manufactures and supplies a wide range of food products to thousands of customers from retail supermarkets to casual dining chains, from independent restaurants to FMCG manufacturers. They have recently been recognised as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work.
They are looking for an experienced Process Development Manager to join the business on a 12-month maternity cover contract to start ASAP.

Responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will be responsible for managing process development projects with a hands-on approach, ensuring smooth product launches and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. This role is about managing the team, which consists of 3 process technologists and 1 specification technologist, as much as owning projects, being on the ground, and driving results through direct involvement. My client is looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on upscaling the product, process validations, safety parameters, as well as overseeing the compliance side (labelling of products for different countries), managing people (mentoring new employees). Driving R&D, creating new ways of working alongside launches.
Qualifications
To apply, you must be available within the next four weeks and have a minimum of 5 years in a food manufacturing or technical leadership role, with experience in managing teams. Proven track record in leading NPD or Process Development Projects from concept to launch.
