Experienced Supply Chain and Finance professional needed for a SME big on sustainability and responsibility.

As Supply Chain and Finance Manager, you’ll report into the MD for a busy Food manufacturing business that supplies a great range of products to customers across UK Foodservice. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the company’s finances and to take the lead on planning and purchasing across the supply chain where you’ll have full ownership of all systems and reporting that will help build a successful food brand.

Working for this SME big on sustainability and responsibility, you will be part of a small team to create quality products made from generations-old recipes, using time-honoured traditional techniques and authentic ingredients.

Day to day you’ll oversee all core finance functions including:

  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Cashflow
  • Payroll
  • Reporting

You’ll ensure legal, HR, and IT systems are robust and compliant whilst leading supply chain operations, managing procurement, stock control, logistics, demand planning and driving performance through KPI tracking, cost analysis, and system improvements that will support the company’s growth and efficiency.

A broad finance background along with a good understanding of Supply Chain/Operations gained in a Food Manufacturing environment is required.

Proven experience delivering monthly accounts, forecasts and KPI dashboards is essential.

Knowledge of purchasing disciplines, batch costing, and demand planning is necessary.

Strong understanding of inventory and ERP systems is important.

Excellent Excel skills and financial modelling capabilities are required.
