Join a growing Food Manufacturing Business. Are you looking for a rewarding operational role within a growing food manufacturing environment? This is an opportunity where you’ll oversee factory operations, compliance and complete relevant administration. You’ll have clear progression and the ability to grow within this business in an operational manager capability.
This position provides critical operational, administrative and compliance support within a food manufacturing plant where you’ll contribute to the day-to-day running across the factory. You’ll manage production documentation, inventory records and food safety systems (HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice etc) while coordinating schedules, training sessions, logistics and cross-department communication.
The Operational Improvement Support & CI Coordinator will also support transactional finance activities, including invoicing, purchase orders and payroll data alongside preparing reports for production performance, audits, inspections and operational reviews. You’ll also liaise closely with suppliers, hauliers and internal teams to maintain an efficient and continuous workflow across the business.
For the right candidate this role offers structured shadowing, hands-on operational exposure and leadership mentoring to accelerate your skills and experience within the meat manufacturing sector.
The ideal candidates will:
- Have proven administrative experience within a food / fmcg manufacturing, meat processing or production environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and manufacturing documentation
- Have proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and production management systems
- Demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Food Industry Administration, Operations Management or a related field
Your application will particularly stand out if you have an understanding of food industry compliance documentation (HACCP, ISO, etc.) would be highly advantageous, as is prior exposure to transactional finance processes.
This role is commutable from Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey or Wiltshire.
