London

£35,000 – £40,000 + Bonus

Analytical Demand Planner needed from the FMCG sector for a newly created Planning role.

As Demand Planner you’ll report into the Head of Supply Chain for a busy food wholesaler.

Due to business growth and the appetite to improve customer supply, my client is now seeking a planning professional who has worked in a planning role for a foodservice, food wholesale or FMCG manufacturing business. You’ll need experience in analysing demand forecasts, driving supply accuracy, reducing stock, and improving product availability.

The business supplies a great range of ambient, chilled, and frozen products to customers across the foodservice and food manufacturing sectors. In this newly created role, you will own and drive stock accuracy, improve availability and make a real impact on the supply of premium food products sourced from European and UK suppliers.

Day-to-day you’ll work closely with the sales team, input, manage, and analyse the demand forecast for key accounts to drive forecast accuracy against an agreed set of KPIs for key customer accounts. You’ll also identify root cause and corrective actions at SKU level to optimise inventory levels and to maximise sales opportunities.

To qualify for consideration will need:

  • Two years industry experience in FMCG demand planning
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and deadlines
  • To be pro-active in identifying issues as or before they arise
  • Good organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively as part of a team and with customers
  • To have an analytical approach with strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Power BI and or another demand planning system experience would be advantageous

This is a hybrid-based role with three days in the office per week.

If you are looking for an opportunity to get stuck in, make a difference, and improve supply into customers in a successful business as they grow and develop then apply today with your CV or contact myself (Neal) directly to discuss further.

Please note that visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.
