We have a brand-new opportunity for a Trainee Underwriter to join our established underwriting team based in Wokingham, Berkshire. This role will allow you to develop your skills as an underwriter through a structured development process including 1 to 1 training/support and Cert qualifications which will be outlined by the senior leadership team.

Key areas of responsibility include:
- To endeavour to meet your key performance indicators as agreed with your manager and to meet the company service standards.
- To answer the telephone in a professional, polite and timely manner.
- To work through the CII exams and achieve CERT CII qualification within 12 months of commencing employment.
- Logging of new business enquiries.
- The prepping of existing business case files for Underwriters.
- You must achieve and maintain the minimum number of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours to meet the obligations of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
