Responsibilities- Respond to allegations of abuse as defined by Section 42 of the Care Act 2014 in line with its accompanying guidance.
- Respond to applications for authorisation of Deprivation of Liberty (MCA/DoLS).
- Experience working with a range of adults, e.g. older people, people with dementia, people with physical and/or learning disabilities or mental health problems.
- Broad understanding of the national and local Safeguarding agenda and MCA/DoLS.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across professions and agencies.
- Confidence in dealing with others in challenging and difficult situations.
- Self-discipline in managing workload and emotional resilience in dealing with the challenges this role inevitably brings.
