Role Responsibilities

This role offers a real opportunity to partner site leaders as their trusted Business Partner from day one, providing HR support, coaching and development to empower managers. This role will provide the flexibility and autonomy of getting to the heart of people issues & working to develop fit for purpose solutions in line with each hotel's strategy and plans, working always with a continuous improvement mindset. This role will be home based but will require significant travel to our hotels across the UK and Northern Ireland.

  • Lead and support the successful execution of the HR strategy across all hotels.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to leaders to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with trade union representatives at both local and national levels.
  • Champion and drive the successful implementation of our performance and talent management frameworks, enabling employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and enhance the capabilities of our people managers, focusing on employee development and creating a high-performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to continuously improve HR practices and processes.
  • Communicate key HR information effectively, including through a monthly newsletter.
  • Lead the development and implementation of successful apprenticeship and graduate schemes.
  • Empower employees by enhancing their understanding of HR policies and procedures, ensuring easy access to relevant information and support.
  • Coach and develop leaders and managers to enhance their HR skills and capabilities.

What will make you Successful?

Your career so far will demonstrate a track record within operational HR with a strong knowledge of core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, recruitment & resourcing, employee relations, employment law, and organisational change. You will have a proven track record of working within an HR role delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business.

  • Experience of case management and exposure.
  • Experience of working in hospitality is essential.
  • Proven experience with employee relation issues.
  • Have working knowledge of UK Employment Legislation.
