We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Night Duty Manager.

As the Night Duty Manager you will be responsible for the hotel during the night shift as the on-duty manager; providing the nights team with the leadership that delivers exceptional customer service in a safe and secure hotel environment.

The ideal candidate would posses outstanding team management and communication skills. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position is essential along with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensure that all guests are safe and comfortable.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
  • To ensure Health and Safety, fire safety and security procedures are adhered to whilst providing excellent, customer service.
  • Ensure all security tasks are completed thoroughly and diligently.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and maintenance requests.
  • Supervise and motivate the night shift team.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities.
  • Address performance issues and provide feedback.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements of the role:

  • Supervisory experience or be a strong front office or nights team member in a hotel.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Flexibility– to enjoy working night shifts (weekends will be included)
  • Good people skills – to work well in a team
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
  • Be used to working alone/ with limited small team alongside you.
  • To be responsible and trustworthy, you will be responsible for all of the guests in house, their safety as well as your own and the teams.
