Role Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for serving and ensuring the wellbeing of our guests within the Bar and Restaurant. You will complete all preparation and service of the Restaurant to the highest standards and in keeping with the specifications and systems set by the Restaurant Manager to keep our service consistent. You’ll ensure that we are compliant with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene by following any systems shown to you. You’ll assist with running food and the preparation of sufficient mise en place.
- To be responsible for the service and wellbeing of our guests.
- To assist in the set up and closedown of the Restaurant.
- Ensure all orders are taken accurately and items are received in a timely manner.
- To support the team in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the service.
- Ensure that the preparation and presentation of each section is of a high standard, and is in line with the standards set.
- Serve guests to the highest standard whilst keeping the guests expectations at the forefront of your mind.
- To keep your mise en place levels up to the required level whilst rotating stock.
- Be mindful of waste, always seek help to utilise all stock and minimise waste.
- Report any faults or defects as you see them.
- Maintain a high standard of Restaurant and back of house cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Ensure that you are correctly dressed in your uniform.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments in the hotel.
