We're looking for a Software Delivery Manager who thrives on keeping development teams focused, organised, and delivering. You'll be the operational backbone of our software function – managing Jira across multiple teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring stakeholders always know where we stand.

This is a hands-on role where you'll own sprint hygiene, delivery metrics, and the smooth flow of work from backlog to production.

What You'll Do

  • Jira & Workflow Management
    • Configure and maintain Jira projects, boards, workflows and automations
    • Build dashboards and reports that give real-time visibility
    • Keep data clean, accurate, and actionable through regular hygiene activities
    • Manage permissions and train teams on best practices
  • Sprint & Delivery Coordination
    • Facilitate sprint planning, refinements, and poker planning sessions
    • Monitor progress, identify blockers, and track velocity metrics
    • Coordinate the development support rota
    • Support continuous improvement through data-driven insights
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Produce clear sprint reports and status updates
    • Work with Business Analysts to ensure backlog items are sprint-ready
    • Coordinate UAT with internal stakeholders
    • Escalate risks and dependencies proactively

What You Bring

    • Advanced JQL for complex reporting
    • Background in tech/telecoms or supporting multiple development teams
