Job Purpose:
As part of the Regional Delivery team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering small to medium size projects from start to finish.This position entails remote & field delivery of solutions, utilising both elements of our engineering capabilities across telecommunications (telco) and information technology (IT). You will be responsible for ensuring seamless implementation, configuration, and optimisation of our products to meet the unique needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
- To review and understand customer requirements, with a view to kicking off the project within the agreed SLA.
- Execute the project plan alongside project managers, where applicable, ensuring clear and regular communication, with appropriate engagement of all necessary departments involved whilst continually ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- To actively track project progress, including forecast, appointed and completion dates to ensure projects are delivered as per the requirements and agreed timeline.
- Review feedback from customers and engineers (incl. Surveys and job sheets) to ensure requirements are being met and that any scope or assumption changes are reported back to the account manager, project manager and customer for any necessary change agreements.
- Provide regular and timely updates to any in-house systems to ensure visibility of progress and workload and that project governance is being followed.
- Ensure the timely tracking of risks and issues for each project, managing through to resolution (or acceptable limitation).
- Co-ordinate calls/meetings, with customers, Project Managers, and technical leads as required.
- Escalate any serious issues in a timely fashion to stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Support maintenance and upkeep of any project and departmental documentation/processes as may be requested, needed or in place.
- Collate and finalise all necessary information and data (including serial numbers and any adjustments in costs) to ensure that invoicing is not delayed, and leases can be triggered.
- Ensure connectivity/ports/etc. are ordered through the relevant delivery hub, as and when required, and delivered on time.
- Liaise with Scheduling team to arrange engineering resource.
- Request / raise purchase order numbers via our purchasing system for equipment, third party engineers, accommodation etc.
- Track equipment orders and ensuring that the delivery was successful.
- Actively contribute to, and promote, the use of best practice and continual service improvement within the project team.
Essential Skills
- Experience of owning and managing multiple project requirements in an efficient and controlled approach.
- Experience in a customer facing role, managing deliverables for customer and communicating with them throughout the process.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel, and maintaining clear and accurate project, customer, and task information.
- Able to provide technical and delivery guidance/expertise/solutions to customers and colleagues.
- Detail oriented with the ability to follow processes as well as create well-written, informative and useable documentation.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in external / customer facing project coordination.
- Knowledge of Hosted Telephony.
- Experience with Gamma Product portfolio.
