As a QA Analyst, you will be part of the testing strategy for Focus Group's portfolio of internal applications — working hand-in-hand with our development team to make sure every release is stable, reliable, and fit for purpose. If you love finding problems before anyone else does, this role was made for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Write test plans against acceptance criteria from scope documents
  • Carry out acceptance, regression and smoke testing
  • Build and integrate automated tests using Playwright
  • Raise and track Jira issues effectively, communicating and escalating where needed
  • Partner with marketing, operations and sales on the UAT process
  • Create and maintain process documentation to a high standard

What You'll Bring:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a QA or equivalent role
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Hands-on experience writing automated tests (Playwright preferred)
  • Sharp eye for detail with a process-driven, analytical mindset
  • A critical thinker who can identify impactful issues, track progress and suggest resolutions
  • Clear and confident communicator — able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys problem solving
  • Organised, self-motivated and happy to take ownership

Desirable:

  • Experience with billing/CRM systems
  • Background in a software development environment
  • Relevant telecoms or managed services industry experience
