Chalkline (part of Focus Group) is looking for a 2nd Line Technical Analyst to join them in their growing Out of Hours team in their Borehamwood office (WD6). This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, eager 2nd Line Support or Projects Engineer looking for their next step. The role is to support our clients by working with the latest Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server).

The role is based in the Borehamwood office, to work shifts outside of our standard operating hours (8am-6pm). The Out of Hours shifts will be on a rota basis and will include weekends. Flexibility around working hours to ensure delivery of service will be of great advantage for the role and naturally expected from time to time.

Ideal applicants will have 2-3 years’ experience and demonstrate support and project delivery knowledge to a 2nd line level of the following technologies:

  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, Microsoft Intune)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Server 2025 and previous versions
  • SQL Server
  • Active Directory
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Basic Windows based networking – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc
  • Basic routing, switching & firewall knowledge

It would also be expected that applicants hold relevant Microsoft certifications (Associate or Expert).
