Group Facilities & Compliance Manager Birmingham or Manchester (Hybrid) £50,000 + Benefits Permanent
Focus Group is a £300m-revenue technology services business, backing 30,000 SME customers across the UK. With 20+ sites and a fast-growing portfolio, we're looking for someone to own it all — from the ground up.
This is a broad, high-impact position sitting at the heart of how we operate. As Group Facilities & Compliance Manager, you'll take full ownership of our entire UK property estate — leading strategy across leases, space planning, and site integration as we continue to grow through acquisition. You'll also provide strategic oversight across fleet, Health & Safety, and ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) — line managing a small team and acting as the senior expert voice for all property, safety, and environmental matters. You'll work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and report directly into the Head of People. This isn't a maintenance role. It's a genuinely strategic position for someone who's comfortable owning budgets, leading procurement, navigating complex lease portfolios, and rolling up their sleeves during M&A integrations.
What we're looking for:
- Proven multi-site facilities or estates management experience, ideally in a corporate or PE-backed environment
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and the ability to act as a competent person
- Experience managing fleet programmes including EV/salary sacrifice and BIK reporting
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as ESOS or SECR
- Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and commercial contracts
- Happy to travel regularly across UK sites
NEBOSH, IWFM membership, or experience in an investor-reporting environment would be a bonus — but not essential.
What you'll get:
£50,000 salary, a hybrid working pattern from either our Birmingham or Manchester offices, and the chance to shape how a fast-scaling, ambitious business operates across the country.
