Focus Partner firm, GRF is seeking a Payroll Assistant Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position will be based in our London office on a full-time basis, with potential for hybrid working following a 4-month probation. The Payroll Assistant Manager will ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such.
- Resolve issues relating to payroll production.
- Assisting with preparations of monthly payrolls for approximately 100 clients.
- Assisting with all year end PAYE requirements.
- Liaising with staff members to ensure timely provision of payroll information.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Experience in managing portfolio of client payrolls on weekly and monthly basis.
- Experience with payroll software. QuickBooks Online, Xero, BrightPay or PAYE Tools preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of and ability to understand new legislation impacting payroll.
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment with different pension providers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Candidates with CIPP qualifications or studying toward a CIPP preferred.
This position is an exempt position. The annualised base pay range for this role is expected to be between £40,000–£50,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
