Senior Audio Visual Installations Engineer

Senior Audio Visual Installations Engineer

Full-Time No working from home possible
Focus Collaboration Ltd

As Focus Collaboration continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior AV Installation Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, leading from the front, and wants to continue developing their technical and commissioning skills.

If you're looking to work for a company where you're not just an employee number, but a genuinely valued member of the team whose contribution makes a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Ideally located along the M3 or M4 corridor, although applications from exceptional candidates further afield will also be considered.

Our projects range from single Microsoft Teams Rooms through to large scale multi-room deployments, estate wide technology refreshes, digital signage rollouts, LED walls, and complex collaboration environments across the UK, Europe, and occasionally further afield.

We're not looking for a site manager.

We're not looking for someone who simply installs equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects on site
  • Manage subcontractors and consumables
  • Deliver high quality installations
  • Liaise professionally with customers and other trades with great communication skills
  • Commission and hand over Microsoft Teams Rooms and Cisco collaboration systems
  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently
  • Support specialist commissioning engineers remotely when required

We already utilise dedicated DSP and control system programmers, so while experience with platforms such as Q‑Sys, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Dante, and similar technologies would be advantageous, we're particularly interested in engineers looking to further develop their commissioning skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years within the professional AV industry
  • Proven experience leading AV installations
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Rooms and collaboration technologies
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

At Focus Collaboration you'll work on exciting projects, modern technologies, and have a genuine opportunity to help shape the future of a growing business.

If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we'd love to hear from you.

Send your CV to careers@focuscollaboration.com or message us directly for a confidential discussion.

NO AGENCIES, YOU MUST BE LIVING AND ABLE TO LEGALLY WORK IN THE UK
