Role – We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP MM and SAP PS to support a complex enterprise transformation programme. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong functional leadership, cross-module integration experience, and the ability to design and deliver end-to-end SAP processes within a large, integrated SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP MM and PS functional workstreams across complex operational processes.
- Design and support end-to-end processes for:
- Customer lifecycle changes
- Asset and equipment installation, replacement, and updates
- Work-order-driven service execution
- Configure and manage SAP MM processes including PR, PO, Service PO, release strategies, and workflows.
- Configure and manage SAP PS including WBS structures, networks, costing, budgeting, and settlement.
- Design and support the Work Order lifecycle, including creation, execution, confirmation, status management, and technical completion.
- Lead master data reconciliation and SAP Business Partner (BP) role management.
- Ensure seamless integration across MM, PS, PM/CS, BP, FI/CO, and external systems.
- Support and manage integrations using IDocs, SAP Proxy and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Lead functional design, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with ABAP and integration teams on RICEFW and interface development.
Key Skills
- 10–12+ years of SAP ERP functional experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP MM and SAP PS.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Work Orders and execution lifecycle
- Service procurement and purchasing processes
- Asset- or service-driven operational processes
- Strong knowledge of SAP Business Partner (BP) and customer/master data reconciliation.
- Proven experience with MM–PS–PM/CS–FI/CO integration.
- Solid experience with IDocs, SAP Proxy, APIs, workflows, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Functional debugging and root-cause analysis capability.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Functional lead / SME mindset with the ability to operate independently.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and delivery discipline.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach.
