Azure Virtual Desktop Project Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a tier-one consultancy, working with a prestigious financial services client as part of a major security and business transformation programme. This role offers the chance to lead a high-impact Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) migration project within a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of the AVD migration project.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and status reports.
• Coordinate user communications and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure alignment with organizational security, compliance, and change management standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within IT infrastructure or cloud migration.
• Proven success leading VDI or desktop migration projects (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, AVD).
• Strong understanding of Azure services, AVD architecture, networking, Entra ID, and application delivery.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
