HOURS: Full Time (34 hours per week)

Are you looking to broaden your knowledge and experience in Adult Social Care? Are you looking to develop your career further and want to do this in a statutory setting? We have an opportunity for someone to join Focus as a Social Work Co-ordinator within our Adult Social Work Teams.

You will work with individuals / families and carers, to identify eligible needs through undertaking Care Act Assessments. You will be supporting individuals to develop independence and wellbeing, through an asset, strength-based approach, utilising community services and groups, and where required commissioning services within agreed procedures and review the effectiveness of these services.

We are looking for individual who can build positive relationships and bring enthusiasm, creativity and passion to the team. You will need to be highly organised and able to demonstrate a level of self-discipline in managing a busy workload, ability to prioritise alongside a high level of professionalism. You will need to be able to think on your feet, have exceptional communication skills and the ability to support a variety of people in a range of situations.

In return, we can provide you with a 34 hour working week (Monday to Friday) to cover between 8-6pm, a generous leave allocation and support / training to further enhance your development. This is on a 12 month fixed term contract.
