Focus Calisthenics is a fast-growing group fitness brand with a mission to make calisthenics accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for adults of all experience levels. We combine bodyweight training, mindful movement, and high-energy music to create workouts people genuinely look forward to.
We’re currently looking for high energy, enthusiastic and reliable group fitness instructors to lead our Blue (Learn & Level Up) and Purple (Stretch & Restore) classes based in Egham, Surrey.
About the Classes
- Blue Classes – Learn & Level Up (Drum & Bass)
- Technique-focused calisthenics sessions
- Slower pace, clear coaching, and progressions
- Designed for beginners and those refining skills
- Taught to energetic drum and bass music
- Purple Classes – Stretch & Restore
- Mobility, flexibility, breathwork, and recovery
- Calm, supportive environment with relaxed music
- Ideal for instructors with a Pilates, mobility, or movement background
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading 1 class per week to start, with opportunity to increase
- Creating and delivering engaging, well-structured workouts
- Adapting movements for different abilities and confidence levels
- Building a welcoming, supportive class atmosphere
- Representing the Focus Calisthenics values on and off the floor
- Helping members feel stronger, more confident, and excited to return
Support will be provided when you start, including help building classes and access to curated playlists — though you’re welcome to use your own music if it fits the Focus Calisthenics vibe.
Who We’re Looking For
- Your personality is the most important part of being hired.
- For Blue Classes
- Background in calisthenics, bodyweight training, or functional fitness
- Confident coaching of technique and movement quality
- For Purple Classes
- Background in Pilates, mobility, yoga, or similar disciplines
- Strong understanding of breath, control, and recovery
- For Both
- High energy, positive, and approachable personality are a must
- Comfortable leading group classes
- Passionate about movement and helping people feel good
- Reliable, professional, and eager to grow with the business

Next Steps
Successful applicants will be invited to an in-person interview so we can get a sense of your personality, coaching style, and how you connect with people. If that goes well, you’ll be invited to run a paid trial class. Provided both are a good fit, you’ll be welcomed into the Focus Calisthenics team.
