You will support the full employee and volunteer lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on workforce experience, engagement, learning and development, wellbeing and recruitment best practice. You will help ensure our HR processes are inclusive, compliant and continuously improving, contributing to a positive experience of working and volunteering with us.

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to play a key operational role in delivering a high-quality HR service across Focus Birmingham. We are looking for the following experience and skills:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in a generalist HR or people role
  • Experience across the employee lifecycle
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and HR systems
  • Strong understanding of learning and development and engagement approaches
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to manage conflict in emotive and sensitive situations
