Business Development Manager
Ramsbottom – Hybrid
Focus 5 Recruitment is excited to be supporting a manufacturing company in their search for a Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and take ownership of driving new B2B sales across the consumer goods sector.
We’re looking for a proactive and driven sales professional with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering against ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to increase business growth.
- Research and identify new markets, trends, customers, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular contact and networking.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from initial contact and quotation through to first delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve profitable deals.
- Maintain a clear understanding of customer needs and industry developments.
- Liaise closely with internal departments including Purchasing, Warehousing, and Accounts.
- Attend relevant exhibitions and events to represent the business.
- Prepare forecasts, analyse sales data, and report findings to senior management.
