Focus 5 Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing, values-led marketing agency as they recruit for a Marketing Operations Manager. This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for owning client service delivery and ensuring projects, systems and processes run smoothly and efficiently. This opportunity is fully remote but you will need to be able to attend their Manchester base once a month. Reporting into the CEO & Founder, you will play a central role in keeping the agency running effectively, ensuring work is delivered on time, to a high standard, and with excellent communication throughout.
We’re looking for someone highly organised, detail-driven and process-focused, who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, supporting teams, and building strong, long-term client relationships. This is a delivery-led role, ideal for someone who thrives on structure, systems and getting things done well.
Key responsibilities for the Marketing Operations Manager:- Managing client onboarding and overseeing all project delivery from kick-off through to completion
- Setting up, tracking and managing workflows in ClickUp, including timelines, dependencies, deadlines and team capacity
- Briefing and coordinating internal teams and freelancers, reviewing work against quality standards and QA checklists
- Maintaining and improving SOPs, templates, systems and processes, including the use of AI to improve efficiency
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations and building strong relationships
- Proven experience in operations or project management, ideally within an agency or B2B environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a process-led mindset
- Confident communicator, comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams
- Tech-savvy, with experience using project management tools and content platforms, and an interest in AI
- A proactive, independent self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, multi-project environments
