We're looking for someone commercially minded, proactive and ambitious who knows how to get brands noticed. Someone who can build strong media relationships, create compelling stories and, importantly, turn those relationships into meaningful coverage across the right consumer, national and broadcast media. This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to make your mark and help shape the PR strategy as the business continues to scale.

The Role

  • Develop and deliver the PR strategy, aligned to the wider commercial and growth objectives of the business
  • Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, broadcasters and key media contacts
  • Identify opportunities to secure high-value coverage across consumer, lifestyle, luxury and national media
  • Proactively pitch stories and create campaigns that generate genuine interest and attention
  • Develop opportunities for TV, radio and other broadcast coverage
  • Create compelling press releases, pitches, stories and briefing materials
  • Identify reactive PR opportunities and move quickly when relevant stories break
  • Work closely with marketing, content and senior leadership to turn business activity into PR opportunities
  • Track and report on PR performance, measuring coverage, reach and commercial impact
  • Manage external PR partners where required
  • Help shape the company's reputation and position within its market
  • Play an important role in developing the PR function as the business grows, with the opportunity to build a team in the future

What We're Looking For

  • Proven PR experience within a B2C environment - this is essential
  • Experience working with premium, high-end or luxury brands
  • A strong track record of securing quality media coverage, ideally including national and/or broadcast
  • Excellent existing relationships with journalists and media contacts
  • A strong commercial mindset and an understanding that PR should contribute to business growth
  • Experience in a scaling, entrepreneurial or fast-paced business would be highly advantageous
  • Someone proactive, ambitious and confident enough to create opportunities rather than simply wait for them
  • A natural storyteller who understands what makes a brand or story newsworthy
  • Comfortable working with data and measuring the impact of PR activity
  • Someone who is excited by the opportunity to grow with a business and ultimately help build a PR function around them

Why This Role?

This is a chance to join a business with ambitious growth plans and big ambitions for its brand. You'll have the freedom to make a real impact, build relationships with some of the most influential media and help take the brand into new spaces - including national and TV coverage.
