Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Officer or Digital Marketing Executive to fulfil a 2-month contract covering a range of digital marketing activities. There is the possibility of extension or even permanent work. This B2C digital role covers digital marketing efforts across SEO, social media, email and paid channels. Experience driving both brand awareness and building customer numbers is what we’re looking for. This role is office based 5 days a week.
Key responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Management: Work with the Content Lead to utilise and leverage engaging content for various digital platforms (e.g., social media (particularly Instagram and TikTok), blogs, websites). Ensure content aligns with brand voice and enhances user experience.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Identify and optimise website content for search engines to improve organic search rankings. Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow the organisation's social media presence across platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. Develop and execute targeted paid social media campaigns with varied audiences.
- Email Marketing: Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads for keep warm and conversion. Analyse email campaign performance and optimise for better results.
- Paid Advertising: Plan and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Meta social media ads. Monitor ad performance, adjust budgets, and optimise campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts using tools like Google Analytics. Use data to make informed decisions and improve future campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy. Collaborate with external marketing, design and multimedia agencies and freelancers when necessary.
Experience required:
- Educated to degree level.
- At least 2 years broad digital marketing experience.
- Experience producing written content for blogs, emails and social media.
- Commercial marketing skills e.g. the ability to translate strategy into actionable briefs for colleagues and agency partners.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, numerical, verbal and presentation skills.
