The Opportunity

FOCO is seeking a Pricing, Cost & Margin Analyst to support margin management, product costing, and supplier negotiations across our licensed consumer products portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are competitively priced while meeting margin targets and commercial objectives across UK, EU, US, and global markets. Working cross-functionally with Product Development, Sourcing, Finance, Production, Sales, and Licensing, this position offers hands-on exposure to international sourcing and regular collaboration with overseas manufacturing partners, including travel to Asia and Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically driven professional with experience in CPG, licensed merchandise, or manufacturing-led businesses.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain detailed product costing models for assigned categories
  • Analyse FOB pricing, landed cost structures, and gross margin impact
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Finance to ensure pricing aligns with corporate margin targets
  • Support Sales teams with pricing strategies for key customers and channels

Supplier Costing & Negotiation

  • Support and participate in price negotiations with Asia-based manufacturing partners
  • Benchmark supplier pricing across regions, categories, and materials
  • Track raw material, labour, and market trends impacting cost
  • Evaluate supplier efficiency, capacity, and costing practices during factory visits
  • Partner with Product Development and Sourcing on specification-driven cost decisions
  • Work closely with Production to understand manufacturing timelines and constraints
  • Communicate pricing updates and cost changes to Sales, Licensing, and senior stakeholders
  • Support SKU setup, cost maintenance, and pricing updates within ERP systems

International Travel (Up to 25–30%)

  • Travel to Asia (including China and Vietnam) as required
  • Participate in factory tours, costing reviews, and supplier negotiations
  • Gather insights to support strategic sourcing and pricing decisions

What You’ll Bring

  • Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years’ experience in pricing, costing, sourcing, finance, or product operations
  • Experience working with international suppliers
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally
  • Preferred
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or licensed consumer products
  • Exposure to FOB pricing, factory cost breakdowns, or supplier negotiations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics GP)
  • Pricing and margin analysis
  • Product cost modelling and financial acumen
  • Supplier negotiation and commercial judgement
  • Cross-cultural communication
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
