We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Associate to own the events, partnerships, social channels and content-led campaigns that help Focaldata reach senior buyers and turn our research into commercial momentum. This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine sharp campaign thinking with excellent execution.
You’ll own Focaldata-hosted events, the external events we attend, campaign partnerships, social media delivery and structured content campaigns — always with learning, momentum and commercial outcomes as the north star.
What you'll do
- Own Focaldata’s events calendar across hosted dinners, breakfasts, roundtables, webinars, conferences and third-party events.
- Plan and execute FD events end-to-end: audience, invite strategy, logistics, messaging, materials, attendee experience, follow-up and success reporting.
- Decide which external events are worth attending, prepare the team to show up well, and ensure every event creates clear follow-up and commercial opportunities.
- Manage campaign partnerships and develop new partnerships with media organisations, industry bodies, communities and other partners that help us reach priority audiences.
- Own the strategy and delivery of Focaldata’s social media channels, including the content plan, publishing rhythm and learnings.
- Structure and deliver content campaigns around white papers, industry reports and JK Substacks.
- Work closely with Growth, BD, Research and Data Journalism to turn Focaldata’s research and content into market-facing campaigns that generate awareness, leads and sales conversations.
- Feed back to the team on what went well and what did not, then experiment and optimise from those learnings.
Who you are (skills and experience)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple moving parts without losing detail.
- Commercial judgment: you know the difference between activity that looks good and activity that creates commercial momentum.
- Experience owning B2B events, campaigns, partnerships, field marketing, social media or demand generation.
- Strong writing, briefing and messaging skills.
- Experience measuring campaign/event performance and turning results into better decisions.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and pushing for inputs, decisions and follow-up.
- Comfort with tools such as HubSpot, Notion, email platforms and LinkedIn.
Nice to have:
- Experience in market research, insight, consulting, SaaS, B2B media, agencies or another high-touch B2B environment.
- Experience running executive dinners, roundtables or conference activations.
- Experience managing media, community or industry partnerships.
- Experience delivering campaigns around white papers, reports, thought leadership or Substack-style content.
Who you are (mindset)
You are a high-energy, high-urgency operator who likes turning messy ideas into shipped work. You care about quality, but you do not get stuck waiting for perfect conditions. You are creative, commercially curious and practical: you can spot a good opportunity, turn it into a clear plan, coordinate the right people, and follow through until the outcome is measured. You are a team player with low ego and a strong learning mindset: you take feedback well, improve quickly and make the people around you more effective.
Success in the role
You’ll make Focaldata’s events, partnerships, social channels and content campaigns more focused, more consistent and more commercially useful — with clearer prioritisation, stronger execution, better feedback loops, and better learning from the work we choose to do.
The pay range for this role is: 40,000 - 55,000 GBP per year.
