Now, we’re looking for a passionate AI Qualitative Research Lead to join our team and help redefine consumer insight with our AI coworker for research, Focaldata AI.

What you'll be doing:

  • Customer Success and Onboarding (60%):
    • Help clients with everything from running their first project to getting data and insights.
    • Lead trials and onboarding experiences, ensuring customers unlock the full value of Focaldata AI.
    • Serve as both a product expert and a trusted qualitative insights consultant to clients.
    • Champion customer success strategies to achieve best-in-class retention and expansion.
    • Create and refine deployment guides, educational materials, and scalable customer success processes.
  • AI Product Development (20%):
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape our AI coworker’s qualitative research capabilities.
    • Engage in hands-on prompt engineering to enhance AI performance across diverse consumer research use cases.
    • Provide expert feedback and craft best-practice use cases, advancing the AI’s effectiveness in delivering actionable insights.
  • Account Management and Sales Support (20%):
    • Own and manage late-stage deals in collaboration with the CEO and Head of Growth.
    • Take charge of customer relationships from onboarding through their journey with Focaldata AI.
    • Drive your own new business opportunities, with confidence in leading demos and sales discussions.

  • 4 years of experience in qualitative research or consumer insights.
  • Skilled in translating client objectives into impactful research and insights.
  • Excited about pioneering a new way to conduct qualitative research with AI.
  • Customer-Oriented:
    • Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and going above and beyond to solve customer challenges.
    • Experienced in building trust and driving retention through hands-on customer success strategies.
    • Fascinated by the potential of AI to transform research and excited to shape an AI coworker for qualitative insights.
    • Experienced or interested in prompt engineering and designing user-friendly AI-driven workflows.
  • Sales-Oriented:
    • Comfortable leading customer demos and supporting sales efforts, with a knack for identifying new business opportunities.
    • Exceptional at verbal and written communication, able to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
