We are looking for a results-driven Director of Retail Consulting to advise retailers adopting Focal and lead the change management process to maximize Focalβs impact. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, the Director of Retail Consulting will work with a portfolio of enterprise customers to maximize ROI and ensure continued alignment between key stakeholders of Focal and our customers. In addition, s/he will manage the Retail Consulting team in the UK. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail consulting, change management, and team leadership.
What you will be doing:
- Consult with our customers in retail on how to best apply Focal to improve their operations
- Lead the change management process with our customers as they trial and adopt Focal
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Seek and act upon opportunities for expansion within our customers
- Lead a team of Customer Success Managers/Retail Consultants in the UK
- Build relationships with and secure support from key stakeholders
- Work across retail functional silos (merchandising, operations, supply chain) to maximize the value of Focal-generated data
- Be the voice of the customer to help guide the Focal product roadmap and prioritization
- Proactively address barriers to success
- Understand the customer's business, define success criteria, and build plans to exceed expectations
What you need to be successful:
- 8+ years professional experience in retail consulting or change management, ideally within grocers
- Ability to forge relationships with VP and C level executives
- Understanding of key success factors, trends, and strategies in UK grocery
- Proven ability to plan and manage the operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
- Great understanding of account management and customer success OKRs, KPIs & ROI
- Excellent communication, presentation, and demonstration skills
- Ability and desire to work independently in an unstructured environment in locations remote from company HQ
