Employee Relations Transformation Lead – 12‑month fixed‑term contract

FNZ is seeking an Employee Relations Transformation Lead to join our People & Culture team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

This role offers the chance to lead a large‑scale UK employment law transformation programme, ensuring compliance and organisational readiness across FNZ’s UK operations.

The Opportunity

You will lead and influence people transformation activity across the organisation, partnering with Legal, Payroll, HR Systems, Learning & Development and senior business leaders to translate legislative changes into practical frameworks, governance controls, operating models and manager capability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of the UK Employment Rights Reform Programme, translating legislative requirements into sustainable business solutions.
  • Manage programme activities, milestones, risks and governance, supporting executive reporting and audit readiness.
  • Redesign employment policies, procedures and employee relations frameworks, producing guidance, toolkits and implementation frameworks.
  • Plan workforce change readiness, consultation and redundancy planning, and lead implementation of related operational workstreams.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks and compliance controls, establishing audit‑ready evidence and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and deliver manager capability programmes and communication initiatives to embed new policies and frameworks.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on complex employee relations and employment law, providing strategic guidance on risks and legislative developments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive UK employment law knowledge with proven experience delivering regulatory or HR transformation initiatives.
  • Strong programme management and delivery skills, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate legal requirements into business policies and operating models.
  • Experience working in highly regulated, governance‑focused environments and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
