This is a senior, high-impact position combining a UK employment law role with global reward and compensation advisory responsibilities. You will act as a trusted UK employment lawyer to the business, the equity & reward function and the UK People team, advising across the full employee lifecycle. In parallel, you will support FNZ’s global reward strategy, including equity incentive arrangements and executive remuneration. The role requires close partnership with People, Legal, Finance, Tax and senior management.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • UK Employment Law & People Advisory
    • Advising on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, investigations and employee relations
    • Manage contentious matters including tribunal strategy and external counsel
    • Draft contracts, policies and settlement agreements
    • Partner closely with the UK People team on employee lifecycle matters
  • UK Employment Law Change & Transformation
    • Support implementation of UK employment law reforms including 2025–2026 legislative changes
    • Support restructurings and organisational change projects
    • Deliver training to People team and managers
  • Global Reward & Compensation
    • Advise on global reward and compensation frameworks, equity plans and executive remuneration
    • Advise on the design, implementation and governance of global equity plans and long-term incentive arrangements
    • Support governance and documentation of incentive structures, including board and committee approvals
    • Monitor regulatory developments impacting reward and compensation
    • Partner with Tax, Finance and People teams

Experience required

  • Qualified lawyer with 10–12 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience in UK employment law and experience in reward, compensation and incentive structures
  • Experience in multinational environment or top-tier law firm
  • Ability to advise senior stakeholders on complex matters
  • Excellent drafting and advisory capability
  • Commercial judgement and risk management capability
