Role Description

To lead outbound sales efforts by actively hunting for new business opportunities UK Wealth & Advice and retail investment sector.

This role is focused on identifying and engaging potential clients through market research, networking, and industry events.

The Sales Executive will be a key driver of pipeline growth, responsible for sourcing qualified leads and converting them into revenue-generating relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to source leads and build brand visibility.
  • Represent the company externally, initiating conversations with potential clients and partners.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of regional business and competitor landscape including strengths, weaknesses and coverage.

Experience required

  • Primary Requirements
  • Evidence of success in building and maintaining a broad network of internal and external stakeholder relationships leading to commercial opportunity
  • Track record of successfully identifying new commercial/sales opportunities and capitalising on these.
  • Have a high level of understanding of UK Market & regulatory principles and rules
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills and the ability to convince through personal credibility
  • Goal/target-oriented
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently
  • 10+ years of experience in outbound sales or business development, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Proven success in lead generation through networking and market engagement.
  • Familiarity with financial services, digital payments, open banking, or embedded finance.
