As a Junior Software Engineer within our critical Capital Markets department, you\’ll play a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle. Design, code, and test applications with a focus on adherence to standards, providing estimates for routine tasks, and troubleshooting defects. Develop a deep understanding of user requirements and product functionalities while fostering effective communication through documentation.
You will collaborate seamlessly within a high-performing team, actively contributing to meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Uphold compliance with policies, standards, and statutory requirements, maintaining ethical standards in handling company assets. Your expertise will drive success and innovation in our dynamic software development environment.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle:
Development and Testing:
Design, code, test, and install applications, ensuring adherence to standards.
Provide estimates for routine tasks and troubleshoot defects.
Build unit tests to maintain code quality.
Product Knowledge and Communication:
Understand user requirements and product functionalities.
Develop expertise in relevant application modules.
Document systems and programs for effective communication.
Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights for a high-performing environment.
Foster strong working relationships and communication across the business.
Contribute to improving project methodologies, processes, and tools.
Compliance and Ethics:

Experience Required
Qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Developed skills in one or more of the major programming languages relevant to the role: Syn~ : Java, SQL, XML
