As a key member of the team, you will lead a team of analysts and developers to design and implement CGT features for clients including migration and initial implementation. You will also support the testing and implementation of the changes to the tax system due to either changes in client requirements or local regulations (e.g. HMRC for the UK). The role will report directly to the FNZ Lead Product Manager and will require strong technical ability, excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible.**Key Responsibilities:*** Work as part of the tax domain team to manage the calculation & reporting of CGT across the clients to the appropriate level* Develop and outline best practice for tax compliance.* Assess the impact of changes in tax legislation as it applies to both personal Income and CGT Tax* Assist the projects teams to design and implementation of CGT reporting on Client platforms* Design and implementation will include liaising with client to create requirements, agreeing testing approach, undertaking testing as required and investigating errors found both during the testing phase & once implemented in live* Provide support to operation teams to ensure that we maintain accurate CGT values post implementation* Liaise with tax regulator(s) to obtain approval for any platform changes**Experience Required:*** Experience in product management, which will include creating requirements and feature documentation to the required standard.* Understanding of Personal Income tax and CGT rules and client tax reporting requirements for at least one jurisdiction, preferably UK and/or Canada.* Understanding of investment markets and products and the key operational processes especially trading, distributions and Corporate Actions* UK specific: You will be required to maintain personal knowledge of key areas of legislation from both HMRC and FCA in relation to CGT, Income Tax and the reporting requirements to clients* You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, being able to clearly articulate your points, as well as influence and negotiate at all levels.
