This role has been created in order to support our Global Finance Transformation. We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Transformation Lead to support the delivery of our Global Finance Transformation Program – org size (c.250 people). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in finance organizational management and transformation of our processes whilst working across cross-functional teams to improve our operating model, find opportunities to improve how we get things done and be part of developing the transformation plan delivery over the next c. 3 years.
The transformation role will span CFO Office business management, Colleague, Processes, Data, Systems and Controls. The individual will support the plan development and execution roadmap including transformation steerco governance.
Specific Role Responsibilities:- Design and implement an effective operating rhythm for the CFO office and the global finance function (develop a strategic colleague engagement agenda, lead colleague communications execution, team capabilities and performance development coordination, senior leadership operating model including offsite planning / management workshops).
- Lead Global Finance cost management including FTE forecasting, planning and reporting.
- Ensure connectivity between finance and HR function (supported by an analyst).
- Key senior partner to the Global finance management team in developing the 3-year transformation including detailed diagnostics of current state, developing our finance vision and the steps to achieve it.
- Proactive role in managing the delivery of expected transformation outcomes through senior level partnering with the management team and cross-functional collaboration across finance (c. 250 colleagues).
- Project management of the global finance transformation program across people / processes / systems / data and controls driving accountability for delivery at a senior level.
- Play a leading role in transformation insights, opportunity identification for improvement as recommendations to senior management.
- Own the colleague and communications strategy for finance transformation to ensure effective top-down communications / address issues identified in colleague feedback and surveys.
- Own Transformation office governance including monthly steerco reporting, RAIDS, actions and minutes.
- Supports strategic projects as and when they arise.
- Qualified accountant with +3 years experience demonstrating a range of experience across the finance function (reporting / planning / Group roles).
- Demonstrates strong understanding of finance processes / frameworks and transformation practices.
- Supported or part of a prior finance transformation.
- Passion for improving employee engagement via communications.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive expected transformation outcomes.
- Confident communicator with strong organisational management skills / project management.
- Expert proficiency in Excel data handling / insights and PowerPoint product for Exco level outputs.
- Show proven ability to build strong relationships across organisational boundaries and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Be highly resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change rapidly.
- Possess excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Have experience with financial systems and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance financial analysis.
- MBA qualification is a plus but not essential.
