We're hiring a Dealing Officer to join our Investment Operations Function at FNZ. You'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of trades for some of the biggest names in financial services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Process and settle client transactions across FNZ platforms - from mutual funds to equities - while ensuring every step meets strict regulatory and process standards.
  • Support clients directly, resolve trade issues, and collaborate across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Place mutual fund orders electronically or by fax, ensuring instructions are sent before the valuation point or dealing deadline.
  • Engage directly with brokers to ensure successful equity trade execution.
  • Monitor orders, identifying and resolving any rejected trades quickly.
  • Track confirmations from brokers and fund managers to ensure accurate settlement.
  • Conduct daily control checks to spot orders requiring manual intervention before deadlines.
  • Investigate and resolve client queries related to trade placements.
  • Support wider operational projects to improve processes and efficiency.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with high volumes of data and transactions.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Understanding of trade processing or investment operations (desirable).
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
